Indiana Alpaca Association

AlpacaIn the year 2007, Indiana alpaca owners and breeders officially became the Indiana Alpaca Association (IAA). We owe a deep debt of gratitude to the late Jodi Wever for being the driving force behind the modern organization. We are up and running, and we're so excited! We have a show planned for October 4th thru the 5th of 2008 at the State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, which gives us even more reason to be excited!

Please check our Calendar of Events or our Membership Directory or our Membership Map or the IAA Forum for more avenues to learn about IAA and alpacas!

The Indiana Alpaca Association (IAA) is a non-profit association of Indiana alpaca owners and breeders who are dedicated to promoting ethical conduct in the alpaca industry, public awareness of and interest in alpacas, their luxurious natural fiber, and related business interests. Our goals are to share knowledge and resources, plan and organize alpaca events, and represent the interests of all Indiana alpaca owners as an affiliate organization of AOBA.

IAA holds regular quarterly meetings with the agenda focusing on IAA business, husbandry and health, fiber, marketing, farm management, and other pertinent topics. Guests are always welcome, and there is ample time to socialize and network throughout the afternoon/day.
